Does AWD effect a vehicle's handling?

Currently spoilers are usless except for looking cool, I hope they can make it more realistic that it buffs the speed a little since spoilers in real life makes the car stick closer to the ground and sticking to the ground makes it faster, right?

Is it even worth buying
