History
The 2022 Apex KS Race (Formerly BKM B38, BKM M38) was based on the 6th generation M3, which was officially unveiled on 23 September 2020 and is powered by a turbocharged inline-6 engine. The M3 produces 473 hp and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque, with the Competition model producing and extra 30 hp and 100 Nm (73 lb-ft) of torque. Both models reach a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h), with the M driver's package increasing it to 180 mph (290 km/h) for the M3, and 182 mph (293 km/h) for the Competition. All-wheel drive has been announced as being optional on the new M3, which would represent the first time that an M3 has used a drivetrain layout other than rear-wheel drive. A manual gearbox will be available only with rear wheel drive. It will also be available as a Touring model, marking the first time BMW has offered an M3 Touring. M performance parts are also available which includes a wing, side skirts and exhausts.
