Overview[]

The 2015 Apex Processor 0 (formerly known as the BKM Risen, BKM e8) was a German sports car that was added to Driving Empire on September 16, 2022. Players could have purchased this vehicle in the dealership for $69,427, making it a relatively easy car to buy, and there was also a roadster version of it.

The vehicle was based on a BMW i8, a plug-in hybrid sports car developed by the manufacturer itself. The i8 was made part of BMW's electrified fleet and was marketed under the BMW i sub-brand. Originally, it was considered a concept car when it was unveiled in 2011 at the International Motor Show in Germany. It wasn't until 2013, when the production version, designed by Benoit Jacob, was showcased at that same location. The vehicle's design was originally derived from the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics concept car developed in 2009 which in fact was also a plug-in hybrid.

Performance[]

In-game, it was one of the worst cars to be used in Drag and Highway. Its performance was above average on Cross Country, though its top speed held it back a little bit. The only good trait this car had is that it's one of the fastest on Circuit for its price. It had average handling, brakes, and below-average top speed and acceleration, which made this car easy to use. Overall, a decent car for collecting, but not recommended for purchase and use in competition. although it could have been used for photography or in respect to xxxtentacionxxx.

Trivia[]

  • The original in-game name for this car, BKM Risen, was perhaps derived from another Roblox game, Greenville, which also features the BMW i8.
    • In the grand scheme of things, however, "Risen" probably refers to the real-life vehicle's achievement as an icon and classic of the future in the BMW series.
  • The vehicle's price was probably intended by the developers to assert 69,420.
  • On the 28th of November 2022, the vehicle's top speed was covertly nerfed from 176 mph (283 km/h) to 155 mph (249 km/h), along with its name changing from "Risen" back to "e8".
  • This car had an issue with its handbrake not functioning. This was fixed on March 3, 2023.
