Overview[]
The 2010 Apex Prod Fast (Formerly 2010 BKM S3 GTR) is a German sports car in Driving Empire and was added on May 21st, 2022 as one of the featured limited vehicles. Alongside its predecessor, the 2001 Apex KS Verse 2, which it is not to be confused with, it was one of 4 limited vehicles available for purchase, with the other two being the 1995 Apex RS9 KS Easy and the 2015 Labhrann X8 Track. Of the four limiteds, it was the second cheapest, at $129,996, and was also available for the longest time, being available for 8 days. As such, it sold the most copies out of the four, with 53,744 sold.
This vehicle is based off of the BMW M3 GTS, a road-legal track car that entered production in 2010, being only available as a coupé. Its 4.4-litre engine produces 444 hp and is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, allowing the car to complete 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.4 seconds. The GTS also came with a revised suspension with adjustable camber, upgraded brakes and a rear wing. The weight has been reduced by 136 kg due to the use of lighter materials and the removal of the rear seats in place of a rollcage. Only 135 were produced.
Performance[]
Although just $3,000 more than the S3 LW, it features much better performance. Its top speed of 190 mph is average, capable of beating some cars in the straights, while others are marginally faster. Its acceleration is an improvement over the LW, but is still slow, and won't be able to keep up with most vehicles. Its handling is roughly the same as the LW, but accompanied with the much higher top speed and improved acceleration, the S3 GTR is a capable vehicle on the Circuit Race. It will be able to compete against a decent portion of vehicles, but the slow acceleration will hold it back from doing well. Overall, the car is average.
