Overview[]
The 1992 Apex RS9 KS (Formerly 1992 BKM S3) was a German sports car in Driving Empire and was added on May 21, 2022. Upon its introduction, it dethroned the 2014 Apex KS3 Reverse as the cheapest purchasable non-limited car in the game, only costing $16,999.
This vehicle was based on the second-generation BMW M3, a car which was revealed on November 1992 and received a facelift in September 1995. Changes from the facelift include clear indicator lights, different rims, upgraded transmission, and the engine bored out to 3.2 litres. This inline-6 was capable of producing 240 hp and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque, with a redline of 7,000 rpm. M3s could be equipped with manual or automated manual transmissions, the latter of which was introduced with the facelift, while the former received an upgrade to a 6-speed. Production ended in 1999 to make way for the E46 M3, known in game as the 2001 BKM S3.
