Overview[]

The 2023 Ballinglo Centonze is a French hypercar in Driving Empire that was added on November 6, 2022 as one of the 7 limiteds from the Halloween 2022 Event. The vehicle was only made available for 24 hours with a price tag of $13,255,960. As a result, only 6,996 were sold.

The vehicle is based on the Bugatti Centodieci, which was built in homage of the Bugatti EB110 and to celebrate the Bugatti marque's 110th birthday. Most of the car body's design was based on the Bugatti Chiron, however, a noticable amount of the design characteristics were taken from the EB110 and can be seen on the Centodieci, such as the five round air intakes on each side and the small horseshoe-shaped radiator grille below the headlamps. From the rear, the vehicle features 8 tail lights with two matte black exhaust pipes placed on both sides of the large diffuser, along with a fixed overhanging rear wing.

Performance[]

Due to the Centodieci's lightning-quick 0-60 mph and powerful handling, it quickly became one of the best cars to utilize in Drag, Highway, Circuit, and Cross Country races alike. Alongside the significantly good handling, the brakes are substantially above-average, making it one of the best cars to turn corners around in the Cross Country and Circuit races.

Overall, this car is great as a competitor to the Bolide and Divo. However, do keep note that its top speed is significantly/noticably (compared to the Bolide and Divo, respectively) lower than the mentioned cars. You might be able to beat both cars under the right circumstances due to the acceleration and handling where they are most needed. Essentially, the Centodieci functions as a slightly detuned version of the Bolide for about half the price and also not requiring the track pass, but also being a limited car.

This car was removed on 3/29/23 to mixed community reception, alongside all other Ballinglos.

Trivia[]

  • The Centodieci was originally going to be revealed as the mystery car during the Halloween 2022 Event until the unexpected early ending of the event.
    • It was planned to cost 50,000 candies until it was decided to be made a limited car for $13,255,960. Due to the rereleased limiteds having twice their original ingame value, the Centodieci's original value would've been $6,627,980 cash.
  • In real life, the car's top speed is limited to 236 mph (380 km/h) to reduce the pressure and wear on the tires due to the downforce produced. This same speed limiter is also present on the Divo in real life.
  • The in-game vehicle name, Centonze, is Italian for, 111, while the car in real life is made for the Bugatti marque's 110th anniversary.
    • The word (and real name of the car) "centodieci" translates to 110, not 111. This might've been done due to copyright issues.
  • Upon testing the great acceleration and handling of the Centodieci, players quickly called for a nerf of the car. Though, due to its limited status, it has been said by Bourgist that the vehicle will receive neither a buff or nerf to keep the majority of people happy.
