This a category for all the cars produced by the legendary Swedish hypercar manufacturer, Koenigsegg Automotive AB. The company was founded in 1994 by Christian von Koenigsegg. Notable cars manufactured by them include but not limited to: Regera, Agera, One:1, Jesko and Gemera.
The first car to be manufactured and sold by the company was their CC8S which was being produced in the years of 2002-2003 with only 6 of them ever being built. It was assembled in Angelholm, Sweden which is where the company is headquartered. The car held a supercharged 655-horsepower 4.7L "Ford Modular" V8 engine and had a 6-speed manual transmission.
Koenigsegg has coined the term "Megacar" for their more powerful cars.
