Overview[]
The 1984 Cavallo T412 was an italian sports car in Driving Empire that was added on October 29, 2022 as one of 10 vehicles in the 2022 Halloween Update Originally, the vehicle could only be obtained from the Witch Dealer (Witchy Villa) at the Spookfest location for 2,499 candies. Though, due to the removal of Spookfest, the vehicle was then sold as a limited for only 24 hours on November 6, 2022 with a price tag of $369,992. As a result, only 12,560 were sold.
The vehicle is based on the Ferrari F512 TR or as people would say, the Testarossa. It originally premiered at the 1984 Paris Auto Show featuring many versions of it with its rear-mounted, five-speed manual transmission. It was a mid-engine sports car manufactured by Ferrari from 1984 to 1996. It has also been recognized as a cultural icon of the 1980s, and was popularized by media including the 1984 television series Miami Vice and Segas 1986 video game Out Run.
The vehicle was removed with the Easter 2023 Event, alongside all other Cavallos.
Performance[]
The 512 TR, compared to its previous year Halloween Event counterpart, the Ferrari F355, had a slightly higher top speed and noticeably better handling. However, the Testarossa's sluggish acceleration (which became semi-decent when fully upgraded) made it unsuitable for drag. It had a top speed of 346 km/h (215 mph) when fully upgraded, which could make it competitive on Highway when it comes to classic vehicles, but even then, it was basically useless there due to the abundance of modern high-end sports cars that have much higher top speeds and acceleration. As such, it was best used as a collector's car like most other vehicles featured in the Halloween 2022 event.
