Guidelines

Inconsequential Acts

The infractions listed here are exceptional acts of unlawfulness.

Infraction (s)
  1. Remain civil and respectful to everyone on the wiki. Since we are all human here, it is important to not provoke others to become hostile on the wiki.
    • Accept one's opinion. All users in a discussion should be respected for their own opinion whether it is liked by you or not. Badgering them to change serves no purpose. This includes vehicles or things of that nature in the game.
    • No threatening other users. Users should not create any sort of intimidation in front of others.
    • Do not harrass other users. Any sort of harrassment or bullying on other users is not accepted as it brings unwarranted pressure or anxiety toward them. Please also note that any mocking toward someone's interests is unacceptable.
    • No racism/homophobia/hate speech. As most people come from different backgrounds, ethnicities, or sexual orientations, they should be respected for what they are as a human being. Any of these terms spoken whether they are directed or not will be met with serious consequences.
    • No persuasion of committing suicide. Any persuasion toward any user to commit suicide is unacceptable.
    • Swearing. As we do allow swearing in a spiritual manner, please refrain from using those type of words as they could eventually start a dispute between other users. Any direct swearing will not be tolerated.
  2. Pointless posts/discussions. Creations of any discussion that contain content unrelated to Driving Empire will be removed.
    • This includes posts that include speaking gibberish or a random word or number.
    • Post that includes epilepsy-inducing content will be removed.
    • Messages that contain the same word, emoji, or image are also considered pointless as they unnecessarily expand a comment section or thread.
  3. Abide by the Manual of Style. This is pretty self-explanatory; view here.
  4. ENGLISH Language. Using other Native Languages isn't permitted here as some of our users or staff may not be familiar with the context of the message.
  5. Advertising. The only place to advertise your own content is your Fandom Profile. Any self-advertising of your content on other parts of the wiki will be removed.
  6. Requesting Staff Roles. An act of sending a message on a wiki staff's message wall to request a position on the wiki for the feasible use of chafing, flexing, scouring others, or typically wanting the role. Whether if you say you'll do good or not toward the wiki, we won't accept anyone through that type of process unless we announce a staff application form to become part of our staff team.
    • No Minimodding. Any dull act toward users to be threatened with a block, message wall warning, etc. are considered acts of minimodding. Please contact a real staff member take care of it.
    • Staff Assault. Any attempted act of attacking a staff member will be met with serious consequences.
  7. Guilt-Tripping. A moronic act of accusing other users to be guilty about a user's faults, despite themselves being fully responsible for their own actions and of which the other users are unrelated.
  8. Do not ask for Robux/In-game Currency. Do not ask users for in-game currency or Robux for your own personal gain.
  9. Misuse of Articles. When creating a page topic, make sure it is related to Driving Empire (Gameplay, Vehicles, etc.).
    • If the article created is related to the following (e.g. Ideas, Suggestions, or Reporting Bugs), it will be removed from the wiki. The wiki is not meant for this type of stuff. If a user wants to disclose their ideas, they may create a post on the Discussions or on your own blog post.
    • Any article creation for self-advertising of a Driving Empire Fan Group will also be removed from the wiki.
  10. Do not add any useless/false information. This is pretty self-explanatory, but it includes adding jokes tips or unrelated trivia facts to an article.
    • Anything a user adds onto an article must be useful and truthful.
    • Any clear intent of vandalism will leave this rule ignored and a permanent block will be issued.
  11. Edit Farming/Spam Edits. The act of publishing an unproductive amount of edits to increase the user's edit count. A perfect example would be adding a letter or word, then removing it after. Rinse and Repeat.
  12. Plagarism. The act of taking someone's work such as art, idea, story or strategy and claiming it as yours. This also goes to users with crediting to the source either.
  13. Edit Wars. The act of two or more people in a disagreement on each other's edits and continuously reverting them on an article. This causes a dispute between the information published on the article and a significant increase in the user's edit count. Users should resolve this with the other user or contact a staff member to settle the dispute.
  14. Editing Fandom User Profiles. The act of editing of a user's Fandom Profile without the user's consent. Their personal profile information should be kept as is unless the user is attempting to revert the vandalism made by another user, has the permission to edit their profile, or is the user's alternative account.
  15. Constant Replacement of Images and Photos. Users must not replace perfectly fine images that meet the Manual of Style with their own. This is considered as another act of edit farming.
    • Images can only be replaced if the image is outdated or if it does not meet the Manual of Style.
    • Users must also not overwrite another user's image and upload it as a secondary file. This causes disruptions to where it is used on wiki articles.
