Eventfest

Overview

Eventfest was a minor location featured on the Driving Empire map. It served as the location to promote the Halloween 2022 Event and Winter 2022 Event. At one point, the location used to feature three distinct mansion structures before being replaced by the seasonal festivities, which served as a showcase for the event's various vehicles, customization items, and minigames. After an event's departure, the location would be reverted to its original state. In the Housing Update, the location was removed and replaced with the new neighborhood. It is clearly unknown where the next eventfests will take place now.

Overview

The Spookfest location was added to the Driving Empire map on October 29, 2022 as part of the Halloween 2022 Event.

The location featured an exclusive Halloween race, Spooky Sprint. Next to it, there were four tents that the player can use to customize their vehicle and face cut-out boards for the purpose of taking screenshots with other players. There were also three locations which act as a dealer where the player can purchase vehicles with candy. The location also featured three tents that act as a small vendor for players to purchase vehicle accessories such as car wraps and rims, also with candy. Some other miscellaneous divisions to point out in the Spookfest location were the stage, Feastfest plot, Ghastly Garden sector, mineshaft, lighthouse which shines a red light toward a pirate ship, and at the center, the leaderboards, featuring the top "Most Candy", "Most Challenges Completed", and "Daily Candy".

Trivia

• On the Spooky Sprint race pad, there is a texture of candy graphics instead of the usual checkered pattern.
• When the player enters the lighthouse, it plays an eerie sound in the background.
• When the location was released, the sign for the photoshoot location was placed under the map. This was however updated a day later.
  • Players may take a screenshot at Spookfest and share it to the official Driving Empire twitter account with the tag, #IVisitedSpookfestDE2022.
• Players can actually walk and spawn on the car Pirate ship. However, in order to get there, players will need a boat or helicopter.
• At the Feastfest sector of Spookfest, the Roblox Headless horseman package can be seen at the stand with candy and pumpkins.

The Winterfest location was added to the Driving Empire map on December 19, 2022 as part of the Winter 2022 Event.

The location featured a big christmas tree with presents on the bottom at the center of the event location. It has a hollow middle, which features the leaderboards on the inside of the Christmas tree for the top "Most Deliveries", "Most Presents", "Daily Presents", and "Daily Deliveries". Surrounding the Christmas tree were small vendor shops similar to the Spookfest event that featured customization accessories such as car wraps, rims, and a spoiler, which can be purchased with the Presents currency. To the left of the Christmas tree, there are three big igloos which house the featured exclusive event vehicles. The igloos with the red and green flags on top feature three vehicles for purchase, while the igloo in the middle with a blue flag on top only features one vehicle for purchase. To the right of the Christmas tree is the "Santa's delivery minigame", the "Slippery Circuit" race and the Photoshoot location which features a sleigh that the player can sit in. To the north of the Christmas tree is a small but slippery ice course for vehicles.

Trivia

• The ice course shown at the location is only meant to be done for pleasure, considering it does not reward the player with any presents for completing it.
  • Do note that the ice course is slippery for the car if the player does not have the Insane Grip Tires upgrade equipped on their vehicle.
• Standing on the pad for Santa's delivery minigame will allow the player to obtain presents and deliver them to anywhere around the map.
• Players can sit in Santa's sleigh, however, it can only hold up to two people.

Trivia

• Unlike the Spookfest location, which replaced the concrete bridge with a wooden one, the Winterfest location keeps it as is with changes to the sign that said "Paradise Country Club" to point towards the direction of the event location.
  • Other changes to note from the Spookfest update were the removal of the traffic signals, the site where the golf cart building used to be, and the moving of the ramp to face towards the event.
• Despite the removal of the Spookfest location on November 5, 2022, the graves from the Graveyard Dealership could still be seen laid out in this location. This was removed as of January 13, 2023.
• After the removal of Spookfest, a small change was made on November 6, 2022 to the river next to the Eventfest location. Instead of being opened up to the ocean, it was closed up to create a small lake.
  • When the Winterfest location was released, a section of that same river was made solid ice for players to drive across. It carries the same slippery characteristic from the ice course. Obviously, when the player gets to the end of the ice rink section, they will immediately fall into the section where you can fall through the map.
• There used to be a bunch of construction activity at this location, which all resulted in the preparation for the upcoming Housing Update.
  • For example, at the doorstep of all three mansions, there were orange letters with the top saying "Notice of Demolition".
  • To the right of the eventfest location, there was a small construction zone quarter featuring an excavator digging up dirt, two cement mixers and a front loader. This was to note that a new road was being built to connect the hairpin roads used in the Cross Country Race with the new neighborhood.
• The Golf-cart building location was removed on July 10, 2022 and was replaced with a construction site. After 6 months of not being touched, the construction site was removed and replaced with the new location for the Drawbridge Sprint Race.
