Overview
The 2021 Celestia 72 is a British hypercar that was added to Driving Empire on February 1, 2021, along with 7 other vehicles. Players were able to purchase this for a limited time in the Cars & Motorcycles Dealership for $2,300,000. It then returned days later in the Evolution of Speed Pack for 1,000, along with the 1992 Labhrann F1. The pack was then removed on December 23, 2021, making the car unobtainable for players.
The vehicle is based on the Gordon Murray Automotive Type 50 or GMA T.50, a sports car manufactured by Gordon Murray Automotive. While it is designed by Gordon Murray, some parts of the car's design was inspired from the McLaren F1. It is also powered by an all-new bespoke 3,994 cc (4.0 L) naturally aspirated V12 engine developed by Cosworth.
Performance
TBD
The car mainly rivaled the Samba TX Super and LeMenti HPO P50 as it was actually pretty quick. Due to its handling value not being updated in the big update, it has the default 29% that all older cars received, which, unlike the real car, means it is extremely bad at turning and is therefore not recommended for the circuit race. Its top speed is also below average, meaning highway is out of the question, and thus only really useful for the drag race. Overall, it is best to use it as a collector’s car - however, a remesh and update to the vehicle is expected to come sometime in the near future, hopefully giving it a much better handling value and a more detailed model.

Trivia
- This is the first car to be added from Gordon Murray Automotive, with the second being the 2019 Cipher WY45 (a one-off of the GMA T.33) that was added on August 18, 2023.
- This is one of the only cars in the game to sport 3 seats, in addition to the McLaren F1 and the McLaren Speedtail.
- Prior to licensing, this vehicle had the widely recognized sound of the Apollo IE before the IE's sound was changed.
- The car was originally released for a very short time, during which only a handful of people managed to get it. Later, it returned, costing 1,000 R$, included in the Evolutions of Speed pack (which also gave the F1). This pack is no longer available, and therefore the T.50 was an offsale car until licensing.
- The car's in-game brand name was changed 3 times in the year 2023 with the first being "Duncan Murphy" on April 7, second brand change to "Corbin Vanguard" on August 18, and the third being a full-name change to "Celestia 72" on September 29
- The fan at the rear of the car spins when driving.
