The 2020 Helix Y is a Swedish megacar in Driving Empire that was added to the game sometime during the Wayfort Era. When it was first released, it had a price tag of $4,250,000.
From December 2020 to December 2021, the Helix Y, along with many cars, had a handling issue that caused cars to not turn while going at 300+ mph. However, after the map revamp of December 2021, this issue was fixed and made the Helix Y one of the fastest cars you could buy.
On March 12, 2022, the vehicle got a remesh along with updated performance stats. The new model also was given an openable hood and front trunk. But, when it was remeshed, people complained about a chassis issue that was not happening before it had a remesh. The problem with the chassis was that it would bounce and snap a lot depending on how aggressive you turn the car. This issue is very prevalent in Circuit Race and Cross Country Race, as both races have many tight turns, which causes the chassis to snap a lot. This issue has not been fixed since the remesh.
On February 28, 2023, this car, along with the whole brand of Helix, was delisted/hidden from the dealership due to the Premium Crates drama. You can still sell this car; however, it is now unobtainable.
The Helix Y is based on the real-life Koenigsegg Jesko, a limited production sports car built by Koenigsegg which was introduced at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. The name Jesko is a tribute to the company founder's father, Jesko von Koenigsegg. The Jesko is primarily built as a high-performance track car, with a focus on high aerodynamic downforce and more precise handling.
The engine is a development of the 5.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine used in the Agera. It has four valves per cylinder each with a bore and stroke of 92 mm × 95.25 mm and a compression ratio of 8.6:1. The engine has a power output of 1,281 hp on normal gasoline and a power output of 1,603 hp and 1,500 Nm (1,106 lb-ft) of torque at 5,100 rpm on E85 biofuel. The Jesko uses a 9-speed multi-clutch transmission and is rear-wheel-drive.
The Jesko's production is limited to 125 units. Customers have the option to pay more money for the top-speed focused version of it, the Jesko Absolut, which, Koenigsegg claims, has a top speed of over 500 km/h (310.7 mph). It comes with a different spoiler and an aerodynamically smoothened body.
Performance[]
For performance-wise statistics, it's average on Drag and one of the fastest on Highway, Drawbridge, Circuit and Cross Country. The Y is easy to use, but some luck is needed due to its slightly buggy chassis, even after many attempts at fixing it throughout the game's updates. It has a high top speed, good handling, and great brakes, but is held back from being one of the best cars for its price due to having below-average acceleration for its class.
