Overview

The 2011 Hennessey Venom GT (formerly known as the Aurelian Enigma, Henray Poison/Poison GT) is an American supercar that was originally added in the release of Wayfort in its ALPHA stage back in 2019. It was then given a new interior back in early 2020, and the ability to open its doors on December 23, 2021. Players could purchase this car in the Cars & Motorcycles Dealership for $1,150,000.

This vehicle was remeshed on December 29, 2023, as Driving Empire acquired licensing rights from Hennessey Performance Engineering. As a result, this vehicle uses its real-life name, along with real-life badging, and an increased design quality. The car also features a new engine bay, which can be opened from the back. It was also given slightly tweaked performance stats and a new price tag of $2,000,000.

This car is a limited-production high performance sports car manufactured by US manufacturer Hennessey Performance Engineering that is based on the Lotus Elise & Exige models. It has set numerous top speed records in many locations, including having the Guinness World record for the fastest road legal car from 0–186 mph (0–300 km/h) with an average acceleration time of 13.63 seconds.

Performance

The Venom GT (as of 12/31/23) is a very solid choice for the relatively low price tag. The combination between its above average top speed and handling makes it a force to be reconned with on the circuit and cross country however it is still outpaced by the Rovanna racer, Fuzen 200, both versions of the F5, and Huayra R. However, just like its American brethren, the GT tends to get loose on the user more than the F5 and F5 roadster and is also not a beginner's car.

Trivia

  • Before it was remeshed on December 29, 2023, it remained as one of the only car models to be featured from the Wayfort Era.
  • Compared to its previous model that was a spyder, the current model doesn't feature a retractable roof.
    • Clearly, the licensed model is based on the Coupe version of the Venom GT.
  • Like the Tuataras, players have more options to customize the Venom GT (minus the wraps option and reduced number of options for car rims).
