Overview[]
The 2011 Jaguar C-X75 (formerly known as the Shadow P60, Panther X150) is a British supercar that was added to Driving Empire as one of the new vehicles to be obtained in the Easter 2023 Event, along with the remeshed 1992 Labhrann E2 and 1996 Louti Alyse. Players could have acquired this vehicle by obtaining 3,000 in the event. On April 19, 2024, it was brought back as a licensed onsale vehicle.
The vehicle is based on the Jaguar C-X75, a a hybrid-electric, 2-seat, concept car that was unveiled at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. The car was a collaboration between British automobile manufacturer Jaguar Cars and the derivative of the Formula One team, Williams Advanced Engineering. It was announced in May 2011 that limited production of this new concept car would be made, with a maximum of 250 cars planned to be built during this collaboration. However, as a result, only six have ever been produced, with one being the concept car and five being other development prototypes.
Performance[]
New: The Jaguar C-X75 has a below-average top speed, incredibly poor handling despite the listed stat, and below-average acceleration. Treat this as a collector's item since it is no longer viable on most races.
Old: It was formerly known for having extremely quick acceleration that could exceed the likes of the Koenigsegg Regera and other high-end vehicles, capable of getting 5.9 or even 5.8 seconds on the drag race. While the top speed and handling were never changed, the pre nerf acceleration more than made up for it, making it THE fastest car on drag, one of the fastest on Cross Country, above average on Circuit, and decent on Drawbridge and Highway race. It has since been nerfed, however due to the acceleration outcompeting cars that should have been far faster.
