The 1990 Jaguar XJR-12 is a British sports car in Driving Empire that was added as a limited car on April 19, 2024 in the Jaguar Licensing Update, along with the 1954 Jaguar D-Type, 1966 Jaguar XJ13, 1991 Jaguar XJR-15, 1993 Jaguar XJ220, 2011 Jaguar C X75 and 2012 Jaguar XKR. This vehicle was available for 2 weeks with a price tag of $2,800,000. As a result, 19,946 units were sold of this vehicle.

This is a sports-prototype race car built by the Jaguar Cars-backed Tom Walkinshaw Racing team for both Group C and IMSA Camel GTP. It was infamously known for winning the 1990 24 Hours of Le Mans race.

Performance[]

In game, this car has a decent top speed, and a decent acceleration, and has handling of 56% by default, making the XJR-12 good at circuit race however its top speed at stock is not the greatest being slightly faster than 229 mph. Its overall recommended that you treat this as a collector's car after you buy it.

  • There's currently no information from any primary sources that regard the car's acceleration. This fact also applies to Jaguar's series of prototype race cars that were used in both the World Sportscar Championship (WSC) Group C and the IMSA Camel GTP series between 1984 and 1993.
  • This is the fifth licensed car to be featured as a limited car in the Cars & Motorcycles Dealership in Driving Empire.
  • The Jaguar XJR-12 was supposed to go off-sale on April 26, 2024, however, it was extended to May 3, 2024, due to the extension of the Jaguar event.
