Overview[]

The 2008 Journey Deluxe is an American electric commuter car that was added to Driving Empire on March 31, 2023, as an exclusive April Fools vehicle, along with the remeshed 2014 KB Canmore, 1969 Chronos Blaze, and now-removed 1980 BMW M1. The vehicle was put on-sale as a limited vehicle for only 2 days with a price tag of $121. As of now, 185,854 units of this vehicle were sold.

The Deluxe was removed along with five other vehicles on August 6, 2024. Players received a refund equal to the original vehicle's cost, which was claimable for a maximum duration of one month,

The vehicle is based on the Tango T600, a super-lightweight carbon-fiber body, two-seat sports car powered by two 30 kW electric motors coupled to an advanced kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The electric Tango T600 had a range of up to 82 miles, depending on terrain and driving style. However, despite its performance and range, the electric version of the Tango T600 was not a commercial success due to its high production costs.

Performance[]

As a limited car for April Fools, its performance is one of the worst to be used on all races. If you're buying this, treat it as a collector's car.
