Overview[]

The 2021 KB Ascendancy (Formerly 2023 JB Ascendancy Racestar) is a British sports car that was added to Driving Empire in the Housing Update, along with the 2020 SSC Tuatara. Players can purchase this vehicle for $442,177.

The vehicle is based on convertible version of the Aston Martin V12 Vantage that was revealed in August 2022, which comes with a retractable fabric roof. It has been claimed to be the fastest of any vehicle's automatic convertible system; it lowers in 6.7 seconds and raises in 6.8 seconds and can be operated at speeds up to 50 km/h (31 mph).

Performance[]

For its performance, its quite a balanced vehicle with above-average acceleration and braking, while having an average top speed and handling, making this car pretty easy to use. On pretty much every race except Highway, it is considered to be one of the fastest cars to be used for its price (only its top speed holds it back just a little bit on Cross Country). The reason why it cannot compete as well on the Highway Race is obviously because of its top speed, which is too low to catch up with other vehicles in this long-distance race. Overall, it's a great car with decent stats and would be a decent recommendation.

Trivia[]

  • This is the first Aston Martin model in Driving Empire to use its own fictional branding logos. However, its only shown at the rear end of the vehicle.
  • The in-game model name for this car is a synonym for the word "Vantage", the car's real-life name.
  • In the engine bay of the car, the player can see that it displays the name of the engine.
  • When the car first released, it had a top speed of 250 MPH and a handling of 88% handling, which made it comparable to the more expensive McLaren Senna. This was nerfed down to 200 MPH and handling to 52%, several minutes later.
  • Unlike the car in real-life, it does not feature the animating retractable roof.
  • One of few cars in Driving Empire that has it's driver position in the Right hand side.
