Overview[]
The 2013 KTM X-BOW GT is an Austrian sports car that was added to Driving Empire on July 12, 2024, as part of the KTM Licensing Update. It can be purchased by players for $185,000.
The KTM X-BOW GT is essentially a variant of the regular KTM X-BOW, with a higher emphasis on amenities, particularly the addition of a windscreen and windows. Windshield wiper controls have also been added. As a result of these changes, the X-BOW GT weighs more than the original car; this also raises the 0-60 time.1
In-Game Information[]
The KTM X-BOW GT was initially teased on July 3, 2024, with the release of the Jaguar E-Type Coupe. On that day, three crates were placed throughout the map. The first crate, which was labeled "1 of 3" was behind the dealership garage. Within the crate was a tented vehicle, though the actual model was not present. On the outside of the crate was a delivery paper, with a listed weight of 847 KG. This was believed by the playerbase to be the X-BOW GT, as the weights were an exact match.
This prediction was confirmed on July 9, 2024, when an official sneak peek of the X-BOW GT was released. The same day, the vehicle was displayed on a special podium, and remained there until July 11, 2024, when it was replaced by the KTM X-BOW GT4 Evo, the second sneak peek.
Finally, on July 12, 2024, the X-BOW GT was added to the game along with two other X-BOW vehicles. It was the cheapest of the three.
Performance[]
The X-BOW GT has phenomenal braking and handling, making it able to navigate corners on any race with ease. While it has a very low top speed at 144 MPH, this allows the vehicle to be controllable at virtually any speed, which contributes to a very low level of difficulty for driving. Its good acceleration makes the vehicle a bit more of an enticing car, but its driving ease is the primary selling point.
That being said, its top speed holds back the vehicle on numerous races, making the X-BOW GT a very fun vehicle to drive, albeit one with low practicality.
