Overview[]

The 2023 Koenigsegg Jesko is a Swedish megacar in Driving Empire that was added to the game sometime during the Wayfort Era. When it was first released, it had a price tag of $4,250,000.

From December 2020 to December 2021, the Koenigsegg Jesko (called the Keoniegg Yesgo at the time), along with many cars, had a handling issue that caused cars to not turn while going at 300+ mph. However, after the map revamp of December 2021, this issue was fixed and made the Jesko one of the fastest cars you could buy.

On March 12, 2022, the vehicle got a remesh along with a slight acceleration nerf. The new model also was given an openable hood and front trunk. But, when it was remeshed, people complained about a chassis issue that was not happening before it had a remesh. The problem with the chassis was that it would bounce and snap a lot depending on how aggressive you turn the car. This issue is very prevalent in Circuit Race and Cross Country Race, as both races have many tight turns, which causes the chassis to snap a lot. This issue has not been fixed since the remesh.

On February 28, 2023, this car, along with the whole brand of Helix, was delisted/hidden from the dealership due to the Premium Crates drama. Players could sell the car, but it was no longer obtainable.

On October 29, 2024, the whole brand of Helix was completely removed from the game. Players who owned the Koenigsegg Jesko were refunded 100% of the original price.

On December 21, 2024, the vehicle was added back as as licensed vehicle, with a new model, buffed stats, and a new price tag of $16,000,000.

The Jesko is a limited production sports car built by Koenigsegg which was introduced at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. The name Jesko is a tribute to the company founder's father, Jesko von Koenigsegg. The Jesko is primarily built as a high-performance track car, with a focus on high aerodynamic downforce and more precise handling. The engine is a development of the 5.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine used in the Agera. It has four valves per cylinder each with a bore and stroke of 92 mm × 95.25 mm and a compression ratio of 8.6:1. The engine has a power output of 1,281 hp on normal gasoline and a power output of 1,603 hp and 1,500 Nm (1,106 lb-ft) of torque at 5,100 rpm on E85 biofuel. The Jesko uses a 9-speed multi-clutch transmission and is rear-wheel-drive.

Performance[]

TBD

For performance-wise statistics, it's average on Drag and one of the fastest on Highway, Drawbridge, Circuit and Cross Country. The Jesko is easy to use, but some luck is needed due to its slightly buggy chassis, even after many attempts at fixing it throughout the game's updates. It has a high top speed, good handling, and great brakes, but is held back from being one of the best cars for its price due to having below-average acceleration for its class.

Trivia[]

  • This is the only car in the game with more than 8 gears, and is capable of reaching 9.
  • Upon its re-release as a licensed vehicle, the 8th gear had a bug where it had a lower speed than the 7th gear.
  • The model in-game uses real life stats from both variants of the Jesko; the Jesko Attack's overall specifications and the Jesko Absolut's top speed.
  • On release, players complained about its $16,000,000 price point, considering it was using the model of the Attack variant of the Koenigsegg Jesko.
