Overview[]

The 2017 Labhrann 888PS was a British supercar in Driving Empire that was added on September 17, 2022. It was sold as a limited vehicle alongside the 2015 Vision Helios X with a price tag of $888,888, with only 36,803 copies sold of this vehicle. It was eventually removed on December 11, 2023, along with the McLaren Sabre.

The vehicle was based on the McLaren 688 MSO HS, a modified variant of the 675LT that was introduced online in late 2015 and publicly in August 2016. The car is lighter and more powerful than the 675LT with the upgraded engine now rated at 688 PS (506 kW; 679 hp) and 516 lb⋅ft (700 N⋅m) of torque at 7,000 rpm. Several different modifications made by McLaren Special Operations (MSO) includes a carbon fiber wing, front canards and a roof scoop.

Performance[]

The vehicle was a good all-rounder vehicle for its price, due to its good handling and traction, as well as decent acceleration. The only drawback for this vehicle was that it's below-average top speed held it back slightly in Highway race, however it had very good stability and rarely snapped or oversteered in corners, making the 688 a good track car for beginners.

Trivia[]

  • The vehicle's price was intentionally set that way in order to complement the in-game name of the vehicle.
    • However, the in-game name for this vehicle doesn't correlate with anything toward the car. Generally speaking, the 888PS interprets 888 PferdStarke (horse strength in German) or 875 HP.
  • Due to its somewhat affordable price, most players were able to buy this vehicle resulting in over 36,000 units being sold.
