Overview

The 2018 Labhrann 8 Track (formerly named the Labhrann X8 Track, Labhrann B1 GTR, McBlaren B1 GTR pre-February 2022, Labhrann Pejuan Track) is a British track car in Driving Empire and was added to the game sometime in 2020. After receiving a remodel and being temporarily being put on sale in the dealership on December 4th, 2020, it received a second remodel, removed from the dealership and became a limited on February 20th, 2021, alongside the 2010 Veloce Bat. It costed $7,200,000 to purchase, and after a set amount of time it would no longer be available for purchase, similar to the current system. Afterwards, it remained off-sale until it received a third remodel on May 21st, 2022, and was once again made a limited vehicle. Featured alongside the 1995 Apex RS9 KS Easy, the 2001 Apex KS Verse 2 and the 2010 Apex Prod Fast, its price had dropped slightly to $6,959,699, but it was only available for three days, similar to the S3 LW. As such, only 4,343 copies were sold.

This vehicle is based off of the McLaren P1 GTR. The weight of the P1 GTR was reduced by 50 kg (110 lb), achieving a power-to-weight ratio of 697 PS (513 kW; 687 hp) per 1 tonne (1.1 tons) compared to the standard P1. This equates to a weight-to-power ratio of 1.44 kg (3.17 lb) per horsepower. The car also featured slick tyres, and had greater levels of performance, grip, aerodynamics and downforce in comparison to the road car.

Performance

The 8 Track has comparable performance to the 8 despite the enormous price tag. Its top speed has increased to 225 mph, which at this price point, doesn't beat very much. Its acceleration is actually worse than that of the 8, further hampering its performance, although still rather decent. Its handling got nerfed into 70% maxed out (with Race Tires). This allows it to out-corner almost every other vehicle, making it a formidable foe in the Circuit Race, although its acceleration and top speed may let it down in places. Overall, a good track car to enjoy in your collection.
