Overview[]
The 1992 Land Rover Defender 110 is a British 4x4 in Driving Empire that was added on May 3, 2024, as part of the Land Rover Licensing Update. It can be purchased by players at a price of $340,000.
The vehicle is a series of British off-road cars and pickup trucks. They consistently have four-wheel drive, and were developed in the 1980s from the original Land Rover series which was launched at the Amsterdam Motor Show in April 1948. Following the 1989 introduction of the Land Rover Discovery, the term 'Land Rover' became the name of a broader marque, and thus no longer worked as the name of a specific model; thus in 1990 Land Rover renamed the 90 and 110 as Defender 90 and Defender 110 respectively. The 127 became the Defender 130.
In-Game Information[]
The Defender 110 was introduced as one of the four vehicles featured in the Land Rover Licensing Update. It is the second most expensive vehicle of the update, falling slightly behind the Land Rover Defender 90 (1997).
It appears to be equipped with one of the inline-four turbodiesel engines feature in Defender 110s at the time.
Performance[]
The Defender 110's low top speed makes it unideal for racing, as it can be outpaced with ease. Even when maxed, the Defender 110 only manages a top speed of 168 MPH. Unsurprisingly, it also struggles to handle at higher speeds, both stock and with max upgrades. While the braking on the Defender 110 is responsive, the other performance attributes make this vehicle unfit for racing.
Considering the low performance abilities of the Defender 110, it serves best as a collector's car or a vehicle for roleplaying, especially considering its high seating capacity.
