For the Series 2 successor, see Lotus Elise (2008).

Overview[]

The 1996 Louti Alyse was a British sports car that was added to Driving Empire as one of the new vehicles to be obtained in the Easter 2023 Event, along with the remeshed 1992 Labhrann E2 and 2013 Shadow P68. Players could have acquired this vehicle by obtaining Eggs 1,500 in the event.

The vehicle was based on the Series 1 model of the Lotus Elise, which was a two-seat, rear-wheel drive, mid-engined roadster developed by Lotus Cars Limited in early 1994 and was released in September 1996. The car was powered by a Rover K-Series engine and weighed around 900kg. It featured independent suspension, with double wishbones and a de Dion rear axle. The interior had basic features and was upholstered in bonded leather. Production of the Series 1 model began in 1996 and ended in 2001 in order to make way for the Series 2 model of the Lotus Elise.

Performance[]

For its performance as an event exclusive vehicle, it was obviously meant to be a collector's car. Its statistics are not recommended to be used for any of the races in the game.
