The 1960 Neptune Glide is an American sports car in Driving Empire that was added to the game as a limited vehicle on August 25, 2023, along with the 1990 Rallye Strato. The vehicle was available for only 3 days with a price tag of $3,000,000. As of now, only 7,016 were sold.
The in-game model's design appears to be based on the Shelby Cobra Daytona, is an American sports-coupé that was engineered and purposely built for auto racing, specifically to take on Ferrari and its 250 GTO in the GT class. The model in-game features some minor changes to its rear front, rear and interior to avoid copyright.
Performance[]
For its performance as a limited vehicle, it features above-average handling and brakes with an average top speed and a below-average acceleration, making the car very easy to use. That said, its stats make it one of the worst cars to be used in the races altogether. Overall, just treat this as a collector's car after you buy it.

- This the second model from Shelby American to be added to Driving Empire. The first being the Shelby Cobra 427.
- The car in-game uses the "Neptune" branding, considering its model was built by Shelby America.
- When it was first teased, it was speculated to be based on the Ferrari 250 GTO.
- About several hours later after its release, the car's old startup, idle, and revs sounds were replaced with much more high quality ones.
- The replaced rev sound is the same one used on the '69 Mustang Mach 1.
- The speedometers used in the vehicle's interior are the same ones used on the Porsche 356 Speedster.
