Overview[]

The 2020 Pagani Imola (formerly known as the 2021 Pegasus Ema) is an Italian hypercar in Driving Empire that was originally added on October 1, 2020, during the Wayfort Era as a replacement for the 2009 Pegasus Zonda R (originally added on May 9, 2020). It was originally part of the Track Car Gamepass with a price tag of $5,400,000. However, it was eventually removed on December 23, 2021, in favor of the 2021 Pagani Huayra R.

The car was then re-added as one of the 7 licensed vehicles from Pagani Automobili S.p.A. on November 24, 2023, with a price tag of $4,900,000 and new performance stats. Currently, players can purchase this vehicle in the Cars & Motorcycles Dealership for $6,000,000.

The Imola was first introduced to the public in February 2020. Its name was derived from the Imola Circuit where it underwent 16,000km of high-speed testing. It is currently the most powerful street-legal variant of the Pagani Huayra.

Performance[]

TBD. Coming Soon.

The Pegasus Ema tops out at 242 mph, which is the same as the Pegasus Horatio BC. This car was quite decent at the highway race, better than the Samba SS Twin Turbo. As shown below, this car topped out at 298 mph when fully maxed. The acceleration of the Ema was fairly decent and did compare to some hypercars, however, better accelerating cars have now taken its place. Back during old Wayfort, this car was one of the most dominant cars to attend Drag Race. The Ema was the most well known for its handling. Back in old Wayfort, this car was such a wanted car that everyone used it, along with the Pegasus Horatio. Prior to its removal, though, largely because of the additions of far better cars, the Ema was a lot less competitive.

Overall, a great car but not worth the price.

Trivia[]

  • Even though this is derived from the Huayra, the official name for this Huayra variant is just 'Pagani Imola' as promoted by the company. A minor inaccuracy to point out for the in-game name.
  • This car uses the same startup, idle, and rev sounds from the Pagani Utopia.
    • This wasn't the case before as the previous model had its own sounds in the past.
  • For some reason, its top speed was nerfed to 217 MPH (343 KM/H) in the current version, while the previous model originally had a top speed of 242 MPH (390 KM/H).
    • Both in-game top speeds are not realistic to its real-life counterpart as the Imola can only reach a top speed of 230 MPH (370 KM/H).
  • The licensed model used to featue AMG badging on the engine bay of the car, however, this was ultimately removed for an unspecified reason.
  • On March 22, 2024, it's price tag was increased from $4,900,000 to $6,000,000 for the sake of balancing between vehicles.
