Overview[]

The Police Station is a minor building and location featured on the Driving Empire map. It serves as the spawn point for players that join the Police Team. Players can also drive to this location to pay off their bounty to avoid getting arrested by police officers. It also serves as the general holding place for players on the Citizen or Criminal Team whenever they get arrested by one.

The building can be found in Vine Hill District on the intersection of Madison Street and Xavier Avenue or perhaps next to the Cross Country Race Pad. The building features a United States Flag with gray brick walls, a dark gray metal roof and dark blue text saying "Wayfort Police Department". Inside the building, players may find an attire locker as they enter along with a room featuring the first set of jail cells. Players may pay their bounty off at the Police Station by going up to the front window that has text saying "Click to pay off Bounty!". If a player gets arrested by a Police Officer, they will be transferred onto the Prisoner Team and into an nonvacant jail cell. Inside, players can find a toilet and a small bunk bed with a light bulb on the ceiling. Players will wait 60 seconds to get out of the cell. However, players can also get out of jail by clicking "Bail Out". Though, players will have to pay a certain amount of money in order to bail out. This however, does not apply to players who own the Free Bail Gamepass.

Trivia[]

  • Before July 10, 2022, the front text of the building used to say "Sunset Shores Police Department".
  • Despite the building featuring a Police Attire, players cannot equip any of the items (e.g. Baton, and Uniform) presented.
  • There is currently a bug where players who join the Police Team don't spawn at the Police Station.
  • Ever since the new map overhaul was released, the building still lacks in vehicle accessibility from the front.
  • There used to be a fire station that was located right beside it, but it was ultimately removed after the Cars & Motorcycles Dealership was overhauled.
