Overview

The 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder (formerly known as the 2015 Avidore 19, Prancep 933 Speed, Portch 819) is a German hypercar in Driving Empire that was originally added to the game in October 2019 during the Wayfort BETA era. Since its debut, it has received two remeshes, the first of which happened on October 20, 2020. It was then taken off-sale from the dealership on December 23, 2021. It had a price tag of $1,150,000.

On January 27, 2023, the car was secretly updated with its new remeshed model and slightly updated performance stats. The new model was also given a new interior, which included a new gauge cluster. Despite this update, the car wasn't put back on sale at the dealership until February 3, 2023. After the Crates update launched, the car was temporarily removed from dealership again a couple of minutes later. In that timespan, it had a price tag of $1,500,000. A week later, the car was permanently returned to the dealership. and it removed again in August 28, 2024 and returned again on September 6, 2024, as a licensed car.

The vehicle is based on the Porsche 918 Spyder, a limited-production mid-engine plug-in hybrid sports car designed and manufactured by German automobile manufacturer Porsche. It was originally created and shown as a concept car in the 80th Geneva Motor Show in March 2010. After receiving 2,000 expressions of interest, Porsche AG's supervisory board approved the series development of the 918 Spyder on July 28, 2010. Eventually, the production model of the 918 Spyder was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2013.

Performance

Its performance is considered to be one of the best accelerating vehicles, with average handling, brakes, and top speed. However, unlike the Martini, it's a bit harder to use in-game. Either way, in every single race except Highway, it is considered to be one of the fastest cars to be used. In conclusion, it's a great car to be used in the competition, though it is still recommended that you get the Senna, as it's a cheaper alternative and has much better handling and brakes.
