Overview
The 2024 Porsche Taycan Turbo S (Formerly 2019 Avidore Futuro X, 2022 Avidore Futuro, 2022 Prancep Futuro Turbo, 2021 Prancep 712 Boost) is a German electric sports car that was added to Driving Empire on October 4, 2024, as part of the fourth Porsche Licensing Update.
The Porsche Taycan Turbo S is a battery electric saloon and shooting brake produced by German automobile manufacturer Porsche. The concept version of this vehicle was named the Porsche Mission E, debuted at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Futuro Turbo has an all-wheel-drive, dual motor layout and is coupled with a 2-speed automatic.
In-Game Information
The Taycan Turbo S dates back to the game's older days, but was re-introduced to the on-sale section of the dealership on July 9, 2022 with a fresh new face, new performance, and a new price. The vehicle experienced several name changes throughout its time on-sale, but remained a staple to the game, remaining one of the only electric vehicles to consistently remain on-sale.
In preparation for the official licensing of Porsche, the Taycan Turbo S was removed, and players were refunded. Despite being removed, the vehicle was not gone from the game for long. On October 4, 2024, the Taycan Turbo S came back to the game, but in facelifted form. This resulted in a slightly different exterior design.
Performance
In-game, it's one of the fastest cars on Drag, below-average on Highway, one of the fastest for its price on Circuit and average on Cross Country. Recommended to buy this if you're planning to do Drag and Circuit only. If not, treat this as a collectors car after having a good grinding car. And yes, it's better than the Model S Plaid. This car can demolish pretty much every hypercar in a drag race except the Rimac Nevera and Koenigsegg Regera.
Overall, a good grinding car or an OP collector's car although there are better cars overall such as Corvette Z06 Z07 Performance Package and 2017 GT.Gallery
