History
The Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 was introduced in January 1999. The R34 GT-R was shorter from front to rear, and the front overhang was reduced as compared to its predecessor. The valve covers were painted glossy red as opposed to black in previous models.
In May 2001, the M-Spec was introduced. It was based on the V-Spec II, but had special "Ripple control" dampers, revised suspension set up, stiffer rear sway bar and a leather interior with heated front seats. The 'M' on the M-Spec stood for Mizuno who is the chief engineer of Nissan. The only other change was the removal of the carbon fiber bonnet which was replaced with the standard aluminum bonnet.
In-Game Information
The Sarion OTP 2 (Formerly, Navatar/Nisaxn GTS) was the cheapest Nissan in the game, before being removed. Its stats were subpar for its price point. The top speed was low at 155 mph, which even the starter cars can match, and as such couldn't do very well in the Highway Race. Its acceleration also wasn't great, either, meaning it couldn't do well in the Drag Race, either. Overall, it was simply a collector's vehicle. Upon its return to the game in the Japanese Legends Pack, the vehicle received a top speed buff to 190 mph, making the vehicle more competitive than before. However, it is still to be treated as a collector's vehicle due to its mediocre performance for its price range, as many supercars within the same price range can outpace it.
