Overview

As its name suggests, the School Bus is a school bus in Driving Empire. It was added on November 5, 2019 and can only be obtained through the Bus Access Gamepass for Robux 25. Its in-game value is $98,500, pricing it higher than most sports cars, and has the largest amount of seats in the game, at 15 seats total.

The School Bus model is based off of the IC CE series of buses, notably the IC CE200. Built in Oklahoma on the chassis of an International 3300, it is currently in its second generation.

Performance

As expected for its large size, the School Bus performance is lacking. It used to be the slowest vehicle in the game, with a top speed of 95 mph; the 1964 Mighty Midget now holds this title. For a bus, its acceleration is average, and its handling is surprisingly high, but despite the 0-60 time, its performance is lackluster compared to its competition. Its large size and weight also results in a large turning circle and horrible brakes. Overall, the bus isn't suited for racing, and is simply a vehicle for carrying passengers and roleplaying.

Trivia

  • Although it already has the most seats, at 15, it could actually hold more. Every second row of seats doesn't work, which means this is technically capable of holding 26 passengers for a total of 27 seats, which is basically an entire Driving Empire server.
  • In the gamepass shop description in-game, it was claimed to be a speedy bus. However, this isn't the case due to its lackluster performance overall.
  • The $98,500 price tag in the "off-sale vehicles" section of the dealership is probably the value of this vehicle.
  • When pressing "H", it will play the default car horn sound rather than a truck horn.
  • This is perhaps one of the most oldest-living vehicles in all of Wayfort/Driving Empire history.
